Murder on Tyneside

Meanwhile, Murder on Tyneside is still doing very well in the Amazon
rankings and it is all down to you lovely readers. So a big thank you to
you all. I do hope you enjoyed the story of Agnes Lockwood and her passion
to help the police with an investigation - whether they wanted her help or not.

If you did enjoy the read, a nice review would be really appreciated and please spread the word,

However, if you didn't, please just tell me quietly in a comment on my blog.
I am getting a little too old and worn to be knocked over - I might break something and not get up again 😀

I think that is all for the moment,

I hope you are all having a great day wherever you are,

Happy Reading!

Cheers!

A New Badge!

What are your thoughts on my new badge?
Murder on Tyneside

Obviously, it won't appear on the cover of copies downloaded from Amazon.. However it is mine to use for promotions etc.

It was awarded to me by Readers' Favorite after they had read and reviewed my novel. And, no, before anyone asks, I did not pay for the review. There wasn't even a guarantee that anyone would read it. It is left to their reviewers to browse through the books and decide for themselves which book they would lead to read.

I think that makes it a little more special, don't you?

Anyway, the reviewer enjoyed reading Murder on Tyneside and gave it 5 stars and because of that I was given a badge.

We were very lucky here in our part of the Scottish Borders as we missed the snow on Thursday. Though I understand it was pretty bad in some areas Instead we had heavy rain and gusty winds. However, thankfully, everything was intact when we got up this morning.

I think it is going to be quiet weekend for us. Maybe I will take the opportunity and get on on with my latest novel. It is going to be another story about Agnes Lockwood and what she gets up to next.

Anyway, I think that is all for the moment,

Have a great weekend.

Cheers!

Murder on Tyneside

I will start this morning by saying a 'Big Thank You' to all who have downloaded a copy of my novel, Murder on Tyneside. I really do hope you all enjoy reading about Agnes Lockwood, who decides to take a rip down memory lane and starts helping the police with their inquiries - whether they want her help or not!
Murder on Tyneside

It is doing so well here in the UK. Therefore I simply wanted to mention it before it starts tailing off, which it will do. Things don't last forever. Well, wonderful things don't! Not in my experience, anyway!

I have started a sequel, but not sure where it is going at the moment. But then I never know where my stories are heading. I tend to make them up as I go along. Not always the best idea, but it works for me.

I have added a few more pictures of the Quayside where the novel is set. They were taken by me on my phone the last time I was down there, so they aren't perfect, but at least I am not breaching any copyright acts/laws, whatever it is they are called.

Sorry if they are a bit haphazard, but when I try to move them around they refuse.  Bit like Agnes, really, so I won't argue.

Cheers all And have a good day!!

Another Freebie! UPDATE!

Freebies UPDATE!

The free offer on Murder on Tyneside has now closed.  However you can download the ebook for Only £1:99p - simply follow the link.

I am just stopping by to announce that another Freebie is now available on Amazon from 4th-8th Feb.

This time it is my latest novel - Murder on Tyneside a cozy murder mystery sent on the quayside at Newcastle upon Tyne.

The novel, which is doing well, has received several 5 star reviews since it was released at New Year.
Those of you who do decide to head over to Amazon to download a copy, I really do hope you enjoy reading the novel it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Being set in my hometown, it brought back so many happy childhood memories.

Meanwhile - Still two days left on this offer.

But that is not all. I understand from my publisher that A Surprise for Christine, a collection of short stories is also going to be free to download from 6th-10th Feb.

Now I expect that will have left you all thinking about which book you want - or, if you really can't decide, then you could just download them both.

Well I think that is all for the moment, but I do think it is enough to be going on with for the time being.

Happy downloading

Cheers
Me on the quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne!
